In 2021, we were searching high and low but not finding the types of Connemaras we wanted to sell : amateur friendly, straightforward, with competition and/or hunt miles.
So what did we do? We decided to start producing our own!
All of our young horses are ridden, XC schooled, competed and/or hunted (when possible) with our team for a minimum of 60 days (most are 60-90) before we even consider advertising and importing to the States.
Any older Connemaras with competition experience, will be in training with our team for a minimum of 30 days (most are 60-90). This gives us the ability to put them through a variety of situations to see how they react, put on the finishing touches in their training, and get a solid fitness base on them before advertising and importing.
This way, every horse that comes out of our program, we feel confident we know the horses really well and that they are the types we are proud to sell.
We feel so confident that we began to offer our ’30 Day Happiness Guarantee’. This is for buyers who purchase ‘sight unseen’ and don’t get to ride the horse before buying and importing. We say if you get the horse and it isn’t a perfect match, we will pay a professional of your choice up to $1200 of consignment board to have the horse sold for you.
